A month-long journey of writing the Word by hand — one passage each day, letting truth move from page to pen to heart.
Companion for the Journey
There is something powerful about writing Scripture by hand. The mind absorbs what the pen traces. The heart engages what the fingers form. This 30-Day Scripture Writing Plan invites you to write one passage each day for a month — letting God's Word move from the page to your pen to your heart.
The Scriptural Foundation
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." — 2 Timothy 3:16-17
"Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds." — Deuteronomy 11:18
How to Use This Companion
Print this plan and keep it with a journal and pen. Each day, find the passage in your Bible, read it slowly, then write it by hand in your journal. After writing, pause and ask: What is God saying to me through this passage today?
Write one sentence of reflection beneath each passage. By the end of thirty days, you will have written the Word into your heart — and your heart into the Word.

A Word for the Practice
Writing Scripture by hand is a practice of slowness — and slowness is where transformation happens. In a world that skims, you will savor. In a culture that consumes, you will contemplate. Each day, you are not just copying words; you are letting the Word of God take root in the soil of your heart.
If you miss a day, simply continue. This is not about perfection but persistence. Over thirty days, you will write hundreds of words of Scripture — and you will be different for having written them.
Print this plan and tape it to the inside cover of your journal. At the end of the thirty days, you will have a beautiful, handwritten collection of God's Word that you can return to again and again.
A Prayer for the Journey
Lord, thank You for Your Word — breathed by You, living and active. As I write these passages, let them write themselves upon my heart. Let Your truth shape my thoughts, my desires, and my steps. And when these thirty days are done, let the words I have written return to me in every season, a lamp for my feet and a light for my path. Amen.
